A Fresh Look and Feel: VoiceRay's New Premium Design System
At VoiceRay, we believe that the environment in which therapy takes place matters—whether that's a physical clinic or a digital platform. An interface should be intuitive, calming, and highly accessible, especially for parents and children navigating speech therapy.
That’s why we’ve recently completed a comprehensive overhaul of our web platform’s design system.
The Medical-Grade Blue Palette
We've transitioned away from generic colors to a carefully curated, harmonized "medical-grade blue" color scheme.
Why blue? Research shows that soft, structured blues promote feelings of calm, trust, and focus. Whether a parent is reviewing a progress report after a long day or a child is interacting with the Voice Coach, the interface is designed to reduce cognitive load and visual fatigue.
Enterprise-Level Typography
Readability is a cornerstone of accessibility. We have implemented an enterprise-level typography system built entirely around the Inter font family.
Inter was designed specifically for highly legible on-screen reading. It features a tall x-height to aid in readability of mixed-case and lower-case text, making sure every instruction, cue, and piece of transcribed text is effortlessly clear.
Accessibility First
Beyond aesthetics, this design token update is a foundation for rigorous accessibility compliance. Our contrast ratios, spacing scales, and layout structures have all been refined to ensure that VoiceRay is usable by individuals with varying visual abilities.
This UI update represents the first phase of a full website redesign aimed at providing the most premium, supportive digital speech therapy experience available today.
